THE NATIVES SHOW LOVE TOUR 2009/10

It's to the foothills of Mont Blanc this week for the latest installment in the Natives Show Love Tour. Daisy B and Tom bring on a storm in the Jekyll...

ChamonixWe may be nearing the end of the Show Love Tour for this season but there are still plenty of great venues and lots of prizes still to be given out to you lucky people. Cham was no exception and the Jekyll remains one of my favourite venues in the Alps - great atmosphere, great staff, amazing food (meatballs with penne pasta - cheers Chris!!) and a mix of seasonnaires, locals and tourists from all over the world, ready to party with the help of Eristoff Black Vodka...

ChamonixAfter watching England beat Eygpt on the big screens it was time for the entertainment - Daisy B and Tom, both Meribel seasonnaires but in Cham for their regular Wednesday night gig, started a wicked acoustic set and were even taking requests from a pretty drunk audience!

All rock stars need alcohol breaks so these were ideal opportunities to give out a huge bagful of prizes from the Tour sponsors to a crowd whipped into a frenzy by Daisy. Ski Club Goody Bags went out to Julia and Clare, both on holiday from Manchester, Natives T-shirts and Warren Smith DVDs to Ross and Vicky from "Mountain Highs", a Chamonix based independent chalet company, and subcriptions to Document and FallLine magazines to Jane and Sam, both Cham locals.

ChamonixAfter more beer and more tunes a very pleased John from Essex went away with a ProFeet wheelie bag, Phil from London with a Greeneye Hoody, Rachel from Cham with a Greeneye girlie T and more Natives Ts and Ski Club Bags to seasonnaires too eager to get back to the bar to leave their name! Also a very happy Mark went home sporting a pair of Black Flys sunglasses.

A top night in the Jekyll as always with lots of happy people full of Eristoff and clutching prizes departing into the early hours of the Chamonix morning...
