THE NATIVES SHOW LOVE TOUR 2008/09

What a day, and what a night...Verbier Ride
The Show Love Tour joined the action at the slopestyle comp that is the incredible Verbier Ride, hosted by Warren Smith and the crew from Ride Freesport, there was some amazing action on and off the mountain and Natives was lucky enough to be there to report on all the action...and enjoy the blue sky powder day!

Ed Waite, Natives Verbier Resort Reporter was there helping organise the European riders, who came from all over the Alps to compete in the competition. This year though there was only one Brit competing, James Woods, and at 16 years old he's definitely the hottest name in young British talent at the minute...

Verbier RideVerbier Ride won by a Brit
James Woods made history yesterday when he became the first Brit to EVER win the European Ride! What an amazing moment for British snowsports, the Verbier Ride was won by Woodsy who was pulling off every trick and landing them with his special helping of Woodsy steeze. Everyone was totally stoked for him and thanks goodness the  Natives Show Love Tour was on hand to help him celebrate at the after party, and it went through the roof at the legendary Farinet.

After the party came the after party...

Natives took the Show Love Tour with the Verbier Ride to the Farinet and then we rocked the Cazbah! It was a night like no other that we have seen before on the Tour, with the place packed with riders, season workers and Verbier locals alike, the sequin-spangled DJ 'Randy Groover' had everybody up and dancing, as we gave away some AWESOME prizes. Thanks to our sponsors we had over £500 worth of FREE prizes to hand out, plus everybody received a FREE drink from Extreme Drinks. A very lucky individual walked away with a puffa jacket from Greeneye.

Natives didn't know there'd be so many familiar faces there, the boys from Faction Ski, which you can now buy here, a host of British celebrity skiers including Naomi Edmondson, the Warren Smith Ski Academy crew, snowsports photographer Camilla Stoddart, Nic Watkins from Run Jump Fly, the place was rammed to the rafters with familiar faces and party animals alike.
