This year the service is available in Chamonix, Courchevel, Les Deux Alpes,
Meribel, St Anton, Tignes, Val d'Isere, Val Thorens and Verbier.

Will
ALPtxt cost me anything?
No. Although you do need to enable global roaming, it does not usually
cost anything to receive a text message while overseas. ALPtxt is available
on any network and to any country.

I'm
going to work in the Alps and plan to buy a mobile there. Can I still
get ALPtxt?
Yes. As long as you can receive text messages, you can have a number based
in any country. You should just make sure that you put your country code
with your number if you sign up online and drop the first zero.

How
often will you text me?
This will vary from resort to resort and by week. You may not receive
a message for a few weeks, then get four in a week.
